ABOUT US
Heart Spring Gardens will be led by co-founders Jean-David Derreumaux and Ben Davis, who bring extensive experience in biodynamic cultivation and socially oriented land work.
JEAN-DAVID DERREUMAUX
Jean-David Derreumaux has over 45 years of experience in biodynamic agriculture, medicinal plant cultivation, and landscape design. He has designed and managed gardens in Camphill Village Copake, the Center for Discovery, and Churchtown Dairy. Jean-David, together with his wife Karen, lived and worked in the Le Beal Camphill Community in France and Camphill Village Copake for over 25 years.
BEN DAVIS
Ben Davis has 28 years of experience in biodynamic agriculture as well as senior-level management of operations, development, and non-profit management. Ben, together with his wife Valeska and family has lived and worked in Botton Village in the United Kingdom and Triform Camphill Community in Hudson, NY. .
Heart Spring Gardens is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit legal entity. All contributions are fully tax deductible. Jean-David and Ben are further supported by a committed Board of Directors, an active local group of medicinal plant growers, physicians, and medical practitioners, and a large circle of dedicated volunteers and supporters in the local and biodynamic community.
